Chemical material - Industrial grade

Sodium hydrogen carbonate

Description

Sodium hydrogen carbonate

Sodium bicarbonate, called iopack sodium hydrogen carbonate or baking soda with the molecular formula of NaHCo3, is a white, odorless, tasteless, crystalline powder with alkaline properties and absorbs moisture and fumes that can be used in various industries.
Application:
Medicine: due to its alkaline and anti-acidic properties for the treatment of inflammation and reduction of blood or urine acidity, in reducing the risks of metabolic acidosis in sever renal disease, in vascular problems due to severe dehydration, in patients with cardiac arrest, in the treatments of diarrhea and ….
Agriculture: not allowing the growth of unnecessary items and fungi, maintaining soil PH, fungicide by disturbing the ionic balance in fungal cells, dietary supplement for cows that modulates the acidic PH of the intestine.
Water treatment: A strong factor in controlling the PH and in the treatment of effluents causes the deposition of many pollutants.
Home applications: Elimination of various odors in dishwashers and plastic containers, odors of various foods such as fish odor by absorbing those odors, cleaning and abrasion of surfaces.
Food industry: it is mostly used in the production of baking powder and in cooking, it eliminates the bitterness caused by acidic substances and causes the cake to become bulky in cake dough.
Hygienic applications: abrasive properties such as a mechanical cleaner such as removing plaque from the teeth, also regulates the PH of the mouth, is a strong exfoliator for the face, absorbs body sweat, so it is called a natural deodorant.
Industrial applications: Neutralize the PH and are considered a source of co2 and can be dissolved as a very weak base in water to sodium ions (Na) and bicarbonate (Hco3), in extinguishers as flame retardant.
It plays an essential role in the purification and filtration of flue gases. It is also used in the textile, dying and textile industries, as well as rubber and plastics, and in the process of producing complex polymer and plastics. It is also used as an inhibitor in explosives. This material is non-flammable and non-explosive.
